Energy engineering for UK facilities.

Independent assessment of commercial and industrial energy systems, with local operating conditions and regulatory context in view.

Assessment reporting uses m², kWh and GBP. Energy-price assumptions, operating schedules and site conditions are agreed for each engagement.

Energy auditing: guidance and requirements

Engineering practice: Assessment depth is agreed to suit the facility and investment decision. CIBSE guidance and relevant ASHRAE commercial energy-audit methods can inform the technical approach; neither establishes compliance by itself.

Requirements, where applicable: ESOS may apply to qualifying organisations, while SECR, EPC and minimum energy efficiency requirements have their own scopes. Rules and responsibilities vary between the UK's nations and property types. Eligibility, reporting deadlines and competent-person requirements must be checked for each engagement.

Refrigerant transition

UK F-gas rules can affect refrigerant handling, equipment, servicing and transition decisions. Great Britain and Northern Ireland may have different applicable regimes. Confirm the refrigerant, equipment, activity and current rules before selecting a retrofit or replacement. A lower-GWP option still needs a whole-system review of safety, efficiency and lifecycle cost.

General context, not legal advice or confirmation of eligibility or compliance. Current official guidance and applicable rules must be checked for each engagement.
